Fun, Professional Pet Photography
Studio and outdoor sessions to capture your pet’s personality
“Did someone say cheese? I love cheese.” (Yes, your dog will say it — and we’ll catch the exact moment they hear the treat packet rustle.)

Pets are comedians, co-conspirators and sometimes tiny fur-covered divas. At Jolley Productions, we embrace the chaos. Whether you’ve got a bounding Labrador, a snooty Persian, a noble horse or a curious snake, our pet photography sessions capture personality, quirks and those utterly unrepeatable expressions that make your animal family member unique.
We work with pet owners across the UK, offering a relaxed, patient approach that brings out the best in even the most camera-shy companions.
They say never work with pets or children — well, therein lies the challenge we’re happy to take on. With calm direction, plenty of treats and a good sense of humour, we turn “sit” into cinematic keepsakes.
Our pet services
Energetic action shots, joyful running sequences and natural portraits captured in parks, beaches or your favourite local spot. Our long telephoto lenses allow us to work from a distance, so your pet can behave naturally.
Cats, dogs, horses, llamas, snakes — we photograph them all. Each species has its own rhythm, and we adapt our approach to ensure calm, respectful and safe sessions.
Our dog studio photography is ideal for capturing clean, classic portraits using studio lighting and controlled backgrounds. Perfect for polished, calendar-style images, head-and-shoulder shots or showcasing coat detail with precision.
Equine sessions designed to highlight the strength, elegance and character of your horse. Our horse portrait photographer services range from detailed headshots to dramatic rider-and-horse compositions at golden hour.
Want more than stills? We offer combined photo and video packages that capture everything from slow-motion zoomies and playful moments to affectionate belly rubs and cinematic riding sequences.
Why our clients love us
Patient, personality-led approach
We don’t expect your pet to perform on cue (unless bribed with cheese). Instead, we work with their natural behaviour — whether shy, energetic or mischievous. This helps us capture genuine expressions without stress or weird, forced poses.
State-of-the-art equipment
We use professional cameras, long telephoto lenses and studio lighting to capture everything from fast-paced action to clean, detailed portraits. The result is sharp images, rich tones and beautifully preserved moments.
Cross-disciplinary creativity
Our wider experience in portrait, event and commercial photography brings fresh ideas to pet shoots. Expect creative framing, cinematic touches and playful elements where appropriate.
Combined photo + video packages
If you’re looking for more than still images, we offer integrated photo and video packages, making it easy to create content for social media, memorial films or wedding-day pets.
What to expect from a session
Before the shoot
We’ll chat about location, style and what makes your pet tick. Tell us about their favourite toys, behaviours, mobility considerations or anything else that helps us plan effectively.
We’ll recommend the best time of day and setting to suit your pet and achieve the strongest results.
On the day
We arrive relaxed, prepared and armed with treats (and a few questionable jokes). Sessions are flexible — whether that’s a controlled studio setup for dog studio photography or an outdoor shoot for natural action shots.
We allow time for sniffing, breaks and settling in. If things don’t go to plan, we adapt — and often, the best images come from those unplanned moments.
Your pet’s well-being is always the priority. Sessions are calm and never forced. We’re experienced with nervous animals and can work closely with owners or handlers to ensure safety. When photographing horses and larger animals, we follow best-practice handling procedures at all times.
After the shoot
We carefully edit your images for colour, clarity and character.
You’ll receive a gallery for download, along with options for prints, albums and bespoke framing. If you’ve added video, we’ll deliver a polished short film that complements your photos.
Tips for a great shoot
For nervous pets, bring a familiar blanket or toy
Bring favourite treats and toys (cheese is still magic)
Keep them well-rested before the shoot — a walked dog is a happy dog
Grooming before a studio shoot helps highlight coat colour and texture
For horses: bring clean tack and a grooming kit for final touch-ups
