It’s Monday the 16th of August 2021 and I’m excited to be photographing Emma & Jamie’s wedding in Stockport. It was a typical overcast day in England but there was nothing dull about this intimate family wedding.
The happy couple got married on the magnificent marble staircase inside Stockport Town Hall. The venue has a wealth of opulent rooms making an ideal setting for any wedding service, ceremony or reception.
After the ceremony, we moved outside to the steps at the front of the town hall. To the surprise of the bride and groom, some pyrotechnic confetti bombs were fired off behind them, which made for some funny group photos 😀
After the ceremony in Stockport we moved on to the Joshua Bradley and Bluebell Suite in Hyde for the reception and wedding breakfast. Jamie and Emma travelled to the destination with style in a vintage 1920s vehicle and we grabbed some fun portrait photos in the gardens at the Joshua.
The smaller guest list of immediate family and friends lent itself to a very personable wedding. This gave me the opportunity to get to know everyone a little better as the day went on. They even invited me to stay for dinne,r which was very enjoyable; thank you guys!
