Event photography was the order of the day for Liz’s surprise 30th at Manchester Hall, Bridge Street on Saturday, 14th November. Many thanks to Andrew for hiring me again. Here’s a preview of some of the photos from the night, with many more to follow.
Arriving early, around one hundred and fifty guests had to, of course, hide in a grand hall in silence, awaiting Andrew & Liz’s arrival. Scroll to the bottom of the blog for the ‘surprise moment,’ Andrew & Liz walked into the room.
Importantly, the birthday girl seemed to enjoy every minute with her family and friends as soon as the party started. The dim lighting in the main hall created a ‘night club’ vibe, making flash photography a must to capture the moments on film.
There was entertainment throughout the night from the resident DJ, plus special guest appearances from Ellie Sax. She really got the crowd going with her impressive saxophone performances over dance tracks. I left before the party had even finished, with the open bar and free food fuelling the event long into the night.
