As of August 2020, I’m excited to announce that I can also offer an affordable, low-priced camera pole photography service for a variety of applications.
What is it?
A small camera attached to a telescopic fibreglass pole which extends from 5ft all the way up to 35ft long… That’s taller than a three story building! I control the camera and take photos using a WiFi based control app.
Cheaper and faster than drone photography
Because this service is fast and easy for me to implement, you can expect to pay a very affordable price. My prices start from just £65 per job.
The other advantage over drone camera work is that there are no health and safety regulations to worry about. This makes drones very difficult to use for commercial applications legally in built-up residential areas in Manchester and the UK. I do however have to be mindful of high winds and overhead power lines.
Great for property photography
For real estate applications it’s perfect as the typical ground level camera angle rarely provides the most attractive aspect for photographing your property; that’s where elevated camera pole photography can step in!
Just a few metres of extra height can be ideal to simply achieve an attractive ‘square-on’ perspective as shown in the image above. It’s widely thought that aerial photography is only of benefit to grand detached homes set in many acres of private land, but even a humble terrace property can benefit from pole photographs, as shown, thanks to the improved aspect and ability to clear unattractive foreground elements such as parked cars and main roads.

Of course, it’s also great to showcase a property’s attractive rural surroundings or gardens where applicable like in the image above. For property marketing images such as these are so often the lead photograph and therefore of key importance. I’m offering this add-on camera pole service now at no extra cost to clients ordering a full property photography package for their home.
And as I’ve already mentioned my system is fast and easy to use so I can offer this service at a very affordable price if all you need is a few elevated camera pole photos.
